Shakespeare in the Garden’s “Hortus Inclusus” presents a detailed look at many of the moments in Shakespeare’s work that revolve around the theme of nature. You will be taken on a stroll through the Botanical Garden with the texts and poetry of Shakespeare where wonders and rare species from the Comedies, Tragedies, Histories and Sonnets will be discovered. Moments of beauty and playfulness, as well as the harsh realities of nature will be on display.

Bring both your walking shoes and your imagination for this unique journey into the world of Shakespeare’s botanicals. A short written introduction in German will be available at the beginning of your journey.
