A classic from the Spanish Golden age of drama, by its greatest playwright Lope de Vega.  When a town finds itself on the front lines of the Reconquista it must manage an occupation by an ally to the Catholic Kings, the Knights of Calatrava.  Only they are anything but allies to the village.  After a series of horrible incidences, the villagers stand up to the cruel leader of the Knights and take back their village, the cost is steep but to survive they must stay united.
